Following a disappointing 2014 season, the Chicago Bears decided to fire general manager Phil Emery and head coach Marc Trestman this past January.

Shortly after Emery’s departure, the team hired Ryan Pace to help turn around the organization. Just days after taking over as general manager, Pace hired John Fox to be the new head coach.

Since Pace’s arrival in Chicago, the Bears have signed 10 new players, but Pace knows he cannot fix all of the team’s problems solely in free agency, saying, according to Larry Mayer of ChicagoBears.com:

We have a lot of needs. The competitive part of you wants to fix it all right now and that can be dangerous because you can overspend at this point in free agency. I’ve got to remind ourselves that we still have the second wave and third wave of free agency. We have the draft, college free agency and preseason scouting. We can claim guys. We can trade for guys. There are a lot of other avenues that are still out in front of us to acquire players. It’s not just right now.

The peak of free agency has come and gone, but that does not mean the team will stop trying to bolster its roster via free agency and the draft.

Many new names will be added to the depth chart once the NFL draft comes and goes, but here is our current projection of the Chicago Bears depth chart after the peak of free agency.
