As always, the defense is not limited to just these guys. Each and every member of the Chicago Bears defense is good, which explains why the Bears have one the best defenses in the NFL.
The offense is a fluke. Jay Cutler throws about 4 INTs per game, and they couldn’t sustain a drive to save their life. The Eagles can’t become complacent, though. Mike Martz has a brilliant offensive mind and will run plays that exploit the Eagles’ defense in any way possible.
The Bears are a different kind of defense. While they don’t have as much speed as the Giants‘ D, the Bears will beat you with pain. They are out to hurt people and are ruthless. If they get to you, they will make sure you remember it. The way to beat the Bears is to be tough and dish the hurt right back to them. Vick will have to forget the whole stay in the pocket deal and just run, run, and run when he’s under a lot of pressure. The goal in this game is to WIN and STAY HEALTHY.
All in all, the Eagles have one of the youngest teams in the NFL and are 7-3. That is pretty impressive and is something that’s tough to argue against. They didn’t get there by lying down and I don’t expect them to do that this Sunday.
