Enough Hooplah! Cutler Needs an Elite Receiver!

Devin Hester this, Devin Aromashodu that, these guys are not No. 1 go-to guys!

Jay Cutler is a talented quarterback, strong armed, and a maturing leader. The fact that he got over 27 touchdowns last season just amazes me.

Why all this nonsense from Bears’ fans that they don’t need an elite receiver? All this talk about how what they have is just fine makes me sick.

As a Green Bay Packers fan, I’m disappointed in the heart of our most hated, most long-time storied rival. They used to fight with more ferocity than this.

The bottom line is, is that Aromashodu is completely unkown as to whether he’ll be good next season.

I’m not denying that he suddenly popped out at the end of last season, but that’s a far cry from picking up someone like Anquan Boldin or Brandon Marshall.

Even if Aromashodu is a 1,000-or-so yard receiver, you can never argue with having two 1,000-yard receivers!

I’m not even saying that the Bears receiving corps is a bad one. But the bottom line is, is that they were 19th in the league in putting points on the board last season. This isn’t going to cut it!

You Bear fans need to realize that you’re in a division that has the Packers and Vikings both surging in both talent and sheer muscle. Even the Detroit Lions may be better than the Bears in three years!

Cutler will have an improved running game to boost him next season, and that’s about it. The Bears need to make some moves to get their quarterback the kind of receiver he deserves.

They’ve already missed out on Boldin and Marshall; pick up Terrell Owens if you have to!

Bears’ fans ought to be pissed that the Bears’ organization have made biggest moves on just the defense alone (with the exception of Chester Taylor).

Julius Peppers should get eight to 12 sacks next season, but where is the Julius Peppers of the offense?

If you guys really can’t pick up such a receiver, then you guys need to at least act like you’re upset about it. For those of you who are upset, you’re the real and most loyal Bear fans.
