The Chicago Bears came out firing in the first quarter and jumped out to a 14-3 lead, but Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions were simply too much for the Bears to handle.

The Lions outscored the Bears 31-3 from the second quarter on and came away with a 34-17 victory. The victory helped the Lions improve to 8-4 on the season, while the Bears dropped to 5-7.

Chicago will once again play on a Thursday when they host the Dallas Cowboys at home on December 4.
