Chicago Bears Insider: Looking at the Bears’ 2011 Schedule Post Draft

Believe it or not, things can change for teams when they end up having a good or bad draft.  Take the Detroit Lions for instance.  Their drafting of defensive tackle Nick Fairley (to play alongside Ndamukong Suh) could make the Lions defensive line one of the best in the NFL and that alone could help them win more games.  The Packers added some depth at key positions and could overcome injuries much better. That equals more games won.

The Bears had a real nice draft at the top but left a lot of things to be desired with the rest of their picks.  Perhaps, they will get some contributions out of these players, and hopefully, they will help them win games in 2011 and beyond.

So now that the draft is over and we have at least a little bit better idea of what teams look like for the 2011 season (although it will never be complete until we have free agency or some kind of equivalent), let’s take a look at how the Bear’s schedule may shape up for the upcoming season.
