The NFL season kicks off this Sunday and Chicago Bears fans will finally get their first real look at Marc Trestman’s offense.

Fans were teased with the team’s aggressive play-calling and success against the Oakland Raiders during the third preseason game, and hope for much of the same this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals finished sixth behind the Bears in total defense last season, allowing just 319 yards of total offense per game.

The defense is highlighted by a stout defensive line that features one of the league’s best young defensive tackles, Geno Atkins, and has two athletic and quick defensive ends in Michael Johnson and Carlos Dunlap.

Trestman’s offense will be faced with a difficult task on Sunday, but new additions along the offensive line, and a new philosophy will be on displayed against one of the league’s best.
