With the 2012 season officially hitting the halfway mark, the battle for conference supremacy begins heating up among the top contenders in the NFC.
While the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears kept pace for first place in the NFC North, the New York Giants extended their large lead on Sunday with a victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
Meanwhile, the coaching hot seat continues to heat up for Andy Reid, Norv Turner and Jason Garrett.
With the postseason contenders becoming more clear, here are my NFL power rankings after Week 8.
