Radio station 670 WSCR “The Score” overnight host (and Associated Press reporter) Lester Grobstein announced that Richard Dent, aka “The Colonel,” was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday evening.

The former Super Bowl MVP apparently got the biggest applause from the crowd that included popular players such as Deion Sanders and Marshall Faulk.

Rounding out the 2011 class were Shannon Sharpe, Ed Sabol, Les Richter and Chris Hanburger.
