Linebacker Nick Roach signed his tender offer Monday. He’s expected to compete for the starting job on the strong side with Pisa Tinoisamoa.

Nick Roach was tendered at the second-round level, meaning he stands to earn $1.684 million this season.

Nick Roach started 15 games last season and was fourth on the team with a career-high 82 tackles.

With Roach under contract, the Bears now have three RFA’s who have yet to sign contracts: defensive end Mark Anderson, safety Danieal Manning, and reserve linebacker Jamar Williams.

Danieal Manning and Mark Anderson are practicing, but they are still hoping to get long term extensions very soon. At least after the NFL Draft happens.
