The Chicago Bears are the ideal team to play the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving this upcoming season, according to sources around the NFL.

The Bears haven’t played on Thanksgiving since their 21-7 loss at Dallas in 2004.

It’s the Cowboys turn to host nNFC team and Detroit would be hosting the AFC team. The Cowboys do have the Bears on their schedule for a home game, leading all signs pointing toward a Bears-Cowboys game.

The Bears could also be playing Buffalo in Toronto. The Bills have the Bears on their home schedule. The Bills have already played the Dolphins and Jets in Toronto, and it’s unlikely the Patriots would play the Bills there.

The NFL Kickoff, Thanksgiving, and Saturday games schedule will not be released until mid-April.
